Josh Hunt, B.Sc., CSCS, TSCC-SILVER

Owner & Director of Sport Conditioning

In 2010 Josh opened the Twist Sport Conditioning Center in Portland, the first of its kind in the United States. Josh and the TWIST team are about delivering results. Their passion is helping athletes and active adults be at their best when their best is needed. Josh’s passion for helping athletes get better every day and his whatever it takes attitude is the fuel behind Twist’s success in Portland.  With a client base that features an Olympic Gold medalist, pro athletes from various sports, developing young athletes, and many active adults, Josh has established himself as a coach that delivers results.

Josh has lived in Oregon since 1996 and has a 6 year old son, Gianni.  In his free time Josh enjoys adventure racing, hiking, trail running, tennis, skiing, cycling, wine, and most importantly BBQ-ing. Jordan Paulino: B.Sc. Exercise and Sport Science, TSCC-BRONZE

Sport Conditioning Coach

 

Growing up playing sports, and being around them his whole life, it was almost like Jordan was DESTINED to become a coach. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Oregon State University, with an emphasis in athletic training. His time at OSU gave him the chance to work with several current athletes. Jordan first got into personal training in 2006. He's trained a wide array of clientele, but deep down, his true passion was to coach athletes and help them achieve their highest potential. Jordan believes that Twist is the perfect opportunity to show his passion for coaching.

Jordan and his wife, Dana, enjoy spending their free time outside working on various "home improvement" projects.

David Haebler, B.Sc., CSCS, AIS, FMS

Sport Conditioning Coach

 

David Haebler has been a strength and conditioning professional for 8 years. He received a BS in Exercise Sports Science Pre-Therapy from Oregon State University. He has a deep passion for exercise, movement and proper body mechanics. He thoroughly enjoys helping and motivating people to reach their athletic goals and overcome obstacles. His background is geared to sport-specific training, regeneration, corrective exercise, proper technique and performance-oriented programming.  He has a zest for regeneration, namely the technique known as AIS (active isolated stretching) also called the Mattes Method. He has a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) from the NSCA. He is also an experienced FMS (Functional Movement Screen) Specialist with about 700 screens under his belt. He really likes to see people moving better and then moving often! Last year David worked for the famous Ski and Snowboard Club Vail. He was a performance trainer and corrective and regeneration specialist for all the winter snow sport athletes. David has a fun and engaging personality, and ensures that his clients/athletes are having productive and effective workouts with a smile. David has several hobbies he loves including: surfing, snowboarding, hiking, reading, traveling, hanging with great friends, and generally anything that is outside and fun.  Be Ready

 

 

Jake Zeemin, B.Sc , ACE

Sport Conditioning Coach

 

Jake is an athlete at heart and it shows through his coaching. Having a background in all sports and football at the collegiate level, he knows the hard work it takes to be a great athlete.

Once finished at Oregon State with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science, Jake left for Los Angeles, CA where he worked with NFL combine prep, NFL veterans, and some of the most talented athletes in the world at their respective sports.

Once finished, Jake worked as a private fitness coach for a professional tennis player, allowing him to travel the world and work behind the scenes at the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open.

Jake's passion for working with athletes from all walks of life shows in his training and he takes great pride in delivering results for any client, no matter the goal.

Jake is a West Albany High School graduate and was born and raised in Albany, Oregon. He loves training, playing football and basketball, and traveling. He is also a self-proclaimed fantasy football expert.
