Josh Hunt, B.Sc., CSCS, TSCC-BRONZE

Owner & Director of Sport Conditioning

In 2010 Josh opened the Twist Sport Conditioning Center in Portland, the first of its kind in the United States.  Josh’s passion for helping athletes get better every day and his whatever it takes attitude is the fuel behind Twist’s success in Portland.  With a client base that features an Olympic Gold medalist, pro athletes from various sports, developing young athletes, and many active adults, Josh has established himself as a coach that delivers results.

Josh sits on the adidas Training Advisory Board; one of only 6 coaches in America.  Josh also has the distinction of being the Oregon region Master Trainer for Combine 360 the global measurement standard for improved performance.

Josh has lived in Oregon since 1996 and has a 4 year old son, Gianni.  In his free time Josh enjoys adventure racing, hiking, trail running, tennis, cycling, wine, and most importantly BBQ-ing. Jermaine Thompson: B.Sc. Social Science, NESTA, TSCC-SILVER

Sport Conditioning Coach

Having been an athlete his whole life, Jermaine is now on the opposite end, coaching athletes to be at their best. In high school, Jermaine played basketball, football and baseball at Wilson High School in Portland having won two league titles in both football and basketball. Jermaine play basketball at Chemeketa Community College where he was Defensive Player of the Year and MVP and then went on to receive a scholarship to Sonoma State University for basketball. His experience as an athlete fueled his passion for coaching and training. He has been a personal trainer for over eight years and a coach for six years. Jermaine coached four seasons of basketball at his alma mater, Wilson High School, and is going into his third season as a basketball coach at Jefferson High School, having won state championships the last three years. He is receiving a Bachelor of Social Science from Portland State University in 2010. Jermaine now feels lucky to be part of the Twist Team.

Jermaine is married to his wife, Stacey. He has a son, Jakai, a basketball lover from the very beginning, and a daughter Amelia, whose persistence is sure to make her great at some sport. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, poker, and spending time with his two brothers that he coaches with at Jefferson High School.

 

Joe Eirvin: B.Sc. Exercise Science, TSCC-SILVER

Sport Conditioning Coach

Joe comes to Twist as a Oregon State University graduate with a bachelors in exercise and sport science with a pre-therapy allied health option. Joe was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri were he played a variety of sports and focusing on baseball and hockey. Eventually Joe played junior "A" hockey in the Mid-west. Joe has passion and enjoys pushing himself in sport and in academics. His positive and hardworking attitude is contagious.

In his down time Joe enjoys trail running, hiking, snowboarding, hunting and fishing.

 

Antje Fimmel: TWCC-ACTP, TSCC-BRONZE

Sport Conditioning Coach

Call it working out, call it exercise, call it health and fitness – whatever the label, it’s been a major part of Antje’s life for as long as she can remember. Having grown up in an active household and began running 10K’s and half marathons with her father while in jr. high, and later moved on to duathlons, adventure racing, and fitness competitions.

Antje attended Parsons School of Design in New York City and continued to be active in fitness - taking classes in everything from karate to spin and teaching cardio kickboxing at a local gym. After school, returning to the Washington, DC spending time in the IT industry, but never losing her passion for fitness, her desire to stay healthy or her competitive drive.

In May of 2010 Antje broke away from corporate America and moved with her dog Joey to Portland to attend the National Personal Trainer Institute, earning her TWCC-ACPT. When not training, Antje spends time snowboarding and going to concerts with her boyfriend Marc, running, decorating her new home and making the best egg white omelets this side of the Mississippi.

 

Jordan Paulino: B.Sc. Exercise and Sport Science, TSCC-BRONZE

Sport Conditioning Coach

 

Growing up playing sports, and being around them his whole life, it was almost like Jordan was DESTINED to become a coach. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Oregon State University, with an emphasis in athletic training. His time at OSU gave him the chance to work with several current athletes. Jordan first got into personal training in 2006. He's trained a wide array of clientele, but deep down, his true passion was to coach athletes and help them achieve their highest potential. Jordan believes that Twist is the perfect opportunity to show his passion for coaching.

Jordan and his wife, Dana, enjoy spending their free time outside working on various "home improvement" projects.
